This case was designed to familiarize participants with the emerging opportunities and challenges of space tourism entrepreneurship in global entrepreneurship ecosystems. Through methodical classroom discussion, the student should be able to:
- Understanding the importance of adopting space tourism entrepreneurship as a classic example of identifying or creating opportunities.
- Examine the economic prospects and likely challenges posed by entrepreneurship in space tourism.
- Explore competition in the space tourism business through the characteristics of the Red and Blue Oceans.
- Using the Business Model Canvas, we assess the business model of space tourism entrepreneurship and discuss various sources of funding for this burgeoning business.
